A. Information You Provide to Us

• Account Registration: Name, email address, postal address, telephone number, and login credentials.
• User Content: Images, videos, audio, and associated metadata (such as geotags) that you actively upload.
• Verification Data: Information required to verify your identity or commercial pilot status.

B. Aerial & Property Data (Network Collection)

In addition to information you provide directly, Stormview collects aerial imagery, roof condition data, and geospatial information regarding residential and commercial properties. This data is collected via commercially available satellite imagery and by our network of commercially-certified drone pilots mapping neighborhoods. When a homeowner interacts with our platform to claim a roof report, this pre-existing aerial data is securely associated with the personal information the homeowner provides.

C. Automatically Collected Data

We automatically collect usage and device data (IP address, browser type, operating system) and precise geolocation data derived from your device or uploaded metadata.

D. Payment Information

We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your full credit card numbers on our servers. Stripe uses this data to complete transactions and for fraud detection in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.

We use the information we collect for the following core operations:

• Service Delivery: To operate the Stormview platform, manage your account, and provide customer support.
• Homeowner Reports: We use your provided contact and property information to verify your identity, associate you with the correct aerial property data, and generate your customized roof condition report.
• Proactive Notifications: We may use collected data to notify you of potential property maintenance issues identified by our mapping services.
• AI & Machine Learning Training: By uploading imagery or utilizing our mapping reports, you acknowledge that Stormview utilizes this content to train, validate, and improve our proprietary Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) damage-detection models.

Our business model involves the commercial use of data derived from physical properties and user content. We strictly limit who we share this with.

• Sale of Derived Data: Stormview retains the right to resell data derived from images and videos (such as mapping analytics, roof models, or industry research) to third-party partners. We will not knowingly sell this data to entities that directly compete with Stormview.
• Service Providers: We share necessary data with vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing).
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of our users.

Notwithstanding any other provision in this Privacy Policy regarding the sharing or sale of data, Stormview strictly protects your mobile communications data in accordance with carrier compliance requirements.

Mobile Data Sharing Carve-Out: Mobile information will not be shared, sold, or conveyed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other data-sharing categories explicitly exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this opt-in information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting "STOP" to the shortcode or number from which you received the message. Reply "HELP" for assistance.

We retain your personal information (name, email, phone number) for as long as necessary to provide our Services. Depending on your state of residence, you may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected].

Limitation on Deletion of AI Data: Upon a verified deletion request, we will delete your direct personal identifiers. However, any aerial imagery, roof condition data, and AI-generated annotations related to your physical property are considered "Derived Data." Once this property data has been ingested into our proprietary AI models, it is aggregated and stripped of your personal identifiers. We reserve the right to retain the underlying aerial imagery and property analytics indefinitely to improve our mapping models, as this data cannot be reasonably isolated or removed from the training sets once ingested.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. However, no transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
