Earn the homeowner’s trust before ever stepping foot on the roof. Don’t just tell them their roof may be damaged, show them exactly where it’s damaged.

Automated mailers.

Send personalized mailers to your leads with the outlined damage on their roof. Homeowners can scan a QR code on the mailer and after verifying their mobile phone number, they will be texted the link to the damage viewer so they can see the damage for themselves.

QR code-enabled door hangers.

Door knocking is a critical component to any lead-conversion process, but homeowners often don’t answer. Leave behind a hanger that has true impact and a compelling call to action; “YOU HAVE DAMAGE ON YOUR ROOF, and you can SEE IT NOW!” When homeowners scan the QR code on the hanger, they verify their address and cell phone number, after which they receive the link to view their roof in the damage viewer. This updates the verified phone number in your dashboard immediately and a notification is triggered that the property has had its QR code scanned.

Yes. Paypixl pilots generate leads only in states where it is legal to fly over private property without prior permission from the homeowner. Pilots in the Paypixl network are commercially-certified and operate in accordance with Part 107 regulations.

We understand that some homeowners will not want their properties flown over, and respect their privacy. We make it easy for those homeowners to request to be removed from our database and placed on a “Do Not Collect” list. We’ve trained our algorithms to automatically detect and draw a box around people in our imagery to further enhance privacy.

All of our leads have at least some degree of visible damage on the roof at the time the image was collected. Traditional, nonexclusive leads originate after a homeowner searches for roofers, and are ready to shop around. Roofers generally buy these leads and compete to earn the homeowner’s business. Our leads get you the FIRST IN THE DOOR advantage in cases where homeowners aren’t even aware they have damage. Many homeowners never get on their roofs to see what shape it’s in. With our leads you can show them their roof on first contact, whether you send them the damage viewer URL over the phone, or show them in person.

Leads that are sold as exclusive are exclusive for 12 months. Nonexclusive leads sold through the marketplace at a lower rate are not exclusive, and may be sold to multiple roofers.

Yes. Our subscription service allows roofers to upload their own images to run through our damage detection and report generation system.

Most newer DJI, Autel, and Skydio drones will work. Drones must have at least a 12 megapixel camera. The ideal drones are DJI Mini 4 Pro and better ($1,100 retail).

Drone operators are required by law to have a Part 107 certificate to fly for compensation or for the furtherance of a business. In many states, operators must hold a commercial UAS certificate and fly IAW with 14 CFR Part 107 in order to legally fly over private property without expressed permission from the homeowner.

We partner with Pilot Institute for training. Specifically, their Part 107 “Get-Ready” course is designed to transition recreational pilots to commercial pilots. While the course prepares you to take the written test, your operators will still be required to schedule and take a written test at a designated FAA testing facility near you.

Creased Shingles, Missing Shingles, Other Damage*, Soft Metal Dents*, Missing Tiles, Cracked Tiles, Slipped tiles. *Other Damage- This is uncategorized damage that may be mechanical damage associated with debris, or anomalies that appear to be damage. *Soft Metal Dents- Soft metal features such as vents and flashings that appear to have a dented surface will be tagged as soft metal dents.

We make every effort to identify AND REMOVE obvious rental properties when we run images through our report generation process. Paypixl uses a constantly updated filter to detect keywords to remove leads owned by REITs, Investors, Capital Funds, etc. We do not consider properties in trust to be rental properties.
